All 28,000 Jews from Vinnitsa and its surrounding areas were massacred at the time.
RWANDA. 1994. The remains of Rwandan refugees who were slaughtered at the parish of Nyarubuye. Over 1000 refugees were shot and hacked to death by Hutu “interahamwe” militia at Nyarubuye. Their bodies remained undiscovered for 44 days.
